Applaws natures Calling Cat Litter Review
Review Summary
Final Thoughts
Nature’s Calling cat litter is a flushable natural cat litter that’s easy on the nose and clumps well. It’s easy to scoop and dust control is excellent.
The problem is the fine texture does end up getting tracked a little depending on how big the tray is. It’s on the higher side for price and a small bag (2.7kg) is just enough for one tray fill.
Overall, if you’re after a good natural litter and price isn’t much of an issue, you’ll find yourself enjoying this litter. This could be my favourite litter because it just scoops so well.

Nature’s Calling cat litter produces very little dust.
The levels of PM2.5 dust did not increase to unhealthful ranges when tested with an air quality monitor at multiple ranges.
No issues here.

Cat Preference and Usage
Our two kittens enjoyed using Nature’s Calling at litter.
They used the litter as much as their usual clay litter. The soft texture might have helped them get used to the litter faster than other options.
Scooping was a breeze. The small particles sift easily and this litter clumps pretty well. Some tracking though.

Review Limitations
I only used this litter for 3 days (one to acclimate the kittens to the litter, and two for testing). This may not be enough time to find out if our kittens liked it best.
I emptied the litter tray three times a day to make sure the trays were clean at all times to reduce bias. However, I couldn’t empty the tray at night so that might have influenced results.
Finally the litter boxes used in this article are only 42cm long. Research suggests cats prefer larger boxes (at least 1.5x the size of your cat).
