The Natural Paw tofu cat litter uses real soybean and is biodegradable.
It offers great odor control and dust control. Doesn’t track as much as other types of litter like clay.
However, this one has a problem with litter fill depth. The 2kg packs struggle to give you a good litter tray fill and your cats might not like that on the paws.
Overall, if you want a natural tofu cat litter this gets the job done, but be mindful of that fill problem.

Dustiness
The Natural Paw Company tofu cat litter is low dust.
I used an air quality monitor and tested this litter using three tests. At no point did levels go into harmful ranges.
This makes it an excellent option for those concerned with health. Data and video footage below.
It’s a heavy litter that doesn’t track or leave much residue in the tray either.

Cat Preference and Usage
I tested Natural Paw Company tofu cat litter with a control (Smitten clay litter).
My two kittens didn’t enjoy this one. This has been a recurring theme with most tofu cat litters I’ve tried, which have gotten mixed results.
There’s no scent out of the bag, but the litter is a large thicker size. It also doesn’t quite fill the litter box to a good depth (only around 3cm high).
So it might just be the feel on the paws that doesn’t quite jive with our kittens. They did use it occasionally, so your mileage may vary.
Waste didn’t produce much odor and tracking was minimal. Some urine did stick a little to the bottom of the tray, but wasn’t hard to remove.

Review Limitations
I only used this litter for 3 days (one to acclimate the kittens to the litter, and two for testing). This may not be enough time to find out if our kittens liked it best.
The litter itself struggled to fill two inches of depth in the tray. This might have created an unsatisfactory litter tray depth for our kittens to enjoy using.
I emptied the litter tray four times to try make sure the trays were clean at all times to reduce bias. However, I couldn’t empty the tray at night so that could have influenced results.
Finally the litter boxes used in this article are only 42cm long. Research suggests cats prefer larger boxes (at least 1.5x the size of your cat).
